Book on ‘secret lovers’ of Carla Bruni set to release in France

A controversial new book which will give insight on “secret life and lovers” of Carla Bruni-Sarkozy is all set to be published in France this month.
Lawyers for French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s third wife are said to be bracing themselves for the release of the work by Besma Lahouri.
Security around the book is tight and the Paris publishers, Flammarion, have not even disclosed its title.
“It’s a robust, anything-goes book which contains explosive revelations about everything from Carla’s relationship with secret lovers to plastic surgeons,” the Telegraph quoted a publishing source as saying.
“The principal story is about a fast-living adventuress with an obsession with wealth and fame. Nobody from Carla’s camp has assisted with anything. This is a proper, unbiased investigation into a world-famous former model, pop singer and first lady,” he added.
Lahouri, who made his name with a biography of French footballer Zinedine Zidane, is currently in hiding and security guards are said to be protecting his work, which is due out in about two weeks.
A source at the Elysee Palace said any attacks on Bruni-Sarkozy, including in biographies, would be viewed “very seriously”.
A spokesman for Flammarion said the new biography, one of at least two being published before Christmas, is “an investigation without co-operation, and without bias”.
He said the company’s lawyers had been involved in its production in readiness for “any legal action”.
In its latest poke at the west, the hardline, government run newspaper, The Kayhan, has gone after Carla Bruni, wife of French President Nicolas Sarkozy.  In his editorial, the editor-in-chief of the daily “whacko†said Ms. Bruni deserves to DIE for expressing solidarity with an Iranian woman sentenced to be stoned to death.Â
This so-called, Iatollah appointed, “journalistâ€, called the first lady of France a prostitute, who should suffer a similar fate… â€Studying Carla Bruni’s record clearly shows the reason why this immoral woman is backing an Iranian woman who has been condemned to death for committing adultery and being accomplice in her husband’s murder and, in fact, she herself deserves to die.â€
To this point, the official response from France has been a feeble…  “This is unacceptableâ€. But I can only imagine what hubby Nicolas is thinking… like maybe locking the papers’ coordinates into a Cruise missile! Â
Iran’s Foreign Minister, when questioned about the comments, said…â€Insulting the officials of other countries and using inappropriate words, this is not approved by the Islamic Republic of Iran.â€Â Really? So will the paper run a retraction and apologize for making Ms. Bruni the target of every Islamic, fundamentalist fruit cake out there? Don’t hold your breath.
Carla Bruni, is but one of millions in the civilized world condemning the possible fate of this poor woman.
Sakineh Ashtiani, a mother of two, has already received 99 lashes for her alleged affair and is awaiting the outcome of a judicial review of her stoning sentence.
