Coby launches the Kyros MID7015 Tablet PC 


It was not that long ago when the US based tablet maker Coby launched the seven inch Kyros Android tablet device under the model number Kyros MID7005. However, it seems that the firm have launched another seven inch tablet to be known as the Kyros MID7015. This new model has been specifically designed for the US market and can already be found in certain stores and online with a starting price of $249.99.
The Kyros MID7015 will offer the seven inch resistive touch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, along with a useful 4 GB of built in storage and running the whole show will the Google Android 2.1 operating system, these features can be found in the Kyros MID7005. It is the processor that appears to different in the Kyros MID7015 as it is powered by Telechips TTC8902 800 MHz ARM processing unit.
According to the Kyros maker Coby, the tablet is quite capable of the playback of 1080p HD video, which is another interesting feature. As for portability this palm sized tablet weighs in at only 0.9 lbs and measures at the thickest point 0.48 of an inch, this is a very light and slim tablet.

A tablet needs connectivity and this Coby tablet comes with a single USB 2.0 port which is very handy, an HDMI output that supports 1080P and 720P ideal for viewing HD on a larger screen or monitor. Then there is the standard headphone jack, a microphone jack, a microSD card slot capable of handling up to 16 GB and of course, there is Wi-Fi b/g. No tablet would worth anything without any applications and so Kyros MID7015 will be using the AppsLib marketplace.
