Freida Pinto has admitted she and boyfriend Dev Patel find their long distance romance a challenge.
The 26-year-old Slumdog Millionaire beauty lives in India, while her 20-year-old actor boyfriend’s home is in Britain and they both have to travel a lot for their film work.
Freida told Total Film magazine: “I’m still with Dev. It’s a challenge to meet mid-way because I live in Bombay. But at the same time we both support and respect each other.
“We know this is our work. And we know that we’ve got to concentrate and focus on that as well, just as much as we concentrate and focus on the relationship.”
The couple met while playing star-crossed lovers in Danny Boyle’s Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire and Freida revealed they could feel something special happening during the making of the movie.
She said: “I think when we were making Slumdog, there was some kind of magic that everybody felt. Everything was in sync.
“We knew there was something magical happening while the film was being done, but we didn’t know the magic was all these awards.”
