CBI interrogated the former Gujarat Minister Amit Shah

The CBI on Wednesday interrogated the former Gujarat Minister Amit Shah in connection with the Sohrabuddin Shaikh fake encounter case. Investigating Officer of CBI Amitabh Thakur led CBI team and interrogated Shah who is known to be a close aide of Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
Shah is in judicial custody for 14 days and has been lodged in high security Sabramati Jail after arrested by CBI on Sunday. CBI team was also accompanied with two videographers, jail superintendent and a lawyer in the Lokmanya Tilak Barracks of the jail. AIR Ahmedabad Correspondent reports that CBI had a set of 32 questions for Amit Shah and he was also expected to answer additional questions coming up from his answers. The CBI special court has granted three days permission for questioning Shah between 9.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. Shah has been accused of murder, abduction and extortion with some police officers in connection with Sohrabuddin fake encounter case.
