She was castigated in the British press for her less than perfect body two years ago but Princess Beatrice, the grand daughter of Queen Elizabeth II of England, has been ranked alongside Hollywood beauty Jennifer Aniston in a survey to find the world’s hottest bikini body.

The 21-year-old was at the centre of a media storm after unflattering photos of her in an ill-fitting bikini went around the world, two years ago.

In a little over two years, she has lost a stone and a half and run the London marathon.

Model and Football WAG Abbey Clancy grabbed the top spot, model-actresss Kelly Brook came second and popstar Katy Perry took the third place in the survey by Gillette Venus, reported Daily Mail online.

The young royal tied with ‘Friends’ star Aniston, 41, and stunning Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio, 29.

Beatrice, who is studying history at University in London, looked svelte on the Riviera last month after finishing her second-year exams.Yep, fourth best celeb bod. Good, eh?

Especially considering it’s only two years since those unflattering photos of Princess Bea in unwise swimwear did the rounds.

But she’s run a marathon and lost weight since then and, gawd bless the British public, we’ve rewarded her for her efforts.

Well, the 1000-odd who completed the survey have.

Above her in the list, compiled by Gillette, are Abbey Clancy, Kelly Brook and Katy Perry.

She ties with Jennifer Aniston and Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio.

And below her are Rihanna and Coleen Rooney.

Not bad at all.

Reports that Her Majesty The Queen (hello Ma’am, if you’re reading) punched the air and shouted “YES! GET IN!” on hearing the news are unconfirmed.
